This prophetic word is a compiled and edited (for brevity, clarity, consistency) summary of prophetic words brought, shared and discussed at the December 2022 gathering of the British Isles Council of Prophets in Glasgow. Please feel free to copy and share in an unaltered form.
About Predictive words
One of the most famous Biblical examples of this is in the book of Jonah. Jonah’s prophecy brought the city to repentance and God relented and spared the city. The glory of repentance trumps any desire that we as prophets might have to be proved ‘right’ by our words.
Please Note
As we know from reading Scripture, prophets receive and share revelation from God in a myriad of different ways. No one prophet sees everything* and no two prophets will ever sound completely alike. In collating and compiling this document we have striven to bring together a good representation of what the BICP prophets are seeing, feeling hearing and communicating in this time.
The danger in any such process is that the resulting composite word can lose the flavour of its individual ingredients. However, we hope, by the grace of the Holy Spirit, that this has not happened and that this document accurately represents a portion of the Father’s heart for these islands and the wider world!
Nevertheless, we encourage the reader to seek out good prophets and prophetic ministries (in the UK, Europe and round the globe) and to listen, study and weigh what they are saying as individuals and groups. The BICP is not the only prophetic grouping in the British Isles and we do not in any way seek to set ourselves up as the ‘elite’ or ‘the only voice’.
Finally, we believe that every one of you also is able to hear God for yourself too – if you need help with this, look up some of the prophets/ministries listed below. Many of them run training courses or schools.

Part 2 – days of war
We are in painful yet necessary days.
As wars and rumours of wars continue across the entire earth, the Lord is maturing the ecclesia into new levels of successful warfare. We will cut new teeth! New levels of discernment will come – whether to allow war or turn back the enemy at the gates. The ecclesia will not only rise but will prevail.
From 2023 and beyond, expect to see:
- War break out in many nations across the world. Watch Estonia, Taiwan and China, and the South Caucasus, (region north of Middle East, South of Russia, east of Turkey).
- Resource wars and land wars; fighting over the Arctic, war over satellites, war over trade routes.
- Continued civil wars with more violent protests in the British Isles that will be met by increased military force and presence on the streets.
- Rumours and pre-tremor of a potential WW3.
- Borders will morph and change, national identities will be challenged, and the boundaries of nations will be redefined (through invasion or retreat).
Know that these wars will enable the necessary conditions for accelerated harvest to take place. Make sure that you are in godly sorrow and not worldly sorrow; do not partner with destruction. You will be blessed if you are not offended by how some things are going to happen. We are in the painful, but necessary days.
Spiritual Sight & Revelation
Psalm 119:105
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
The day of war will require an accurate prophetic flow and a pure spirit. Wars will create conditions for harvest but also for the enemy to undermine the harvest: know what to allow and what to delay.
Gone are the 5-year, 3-year or 1-year plans. Instead, God will teach His people a daily dependency upon His voice and through it they will see the next step to take. There is a renewed simplicity that we will learn of leaning upon His guidance for each decision. Gone are the complex plans and strategies that were designed in a time of peace, the ‘fog of war’ will be navigated by the unfolding plans that come from daily fresh revelation.
Where is your reliance?
The Lord says, “Fall face down and stay in this posture as war rages at your borders, finances are squeezed, and food becomes scarce. I am building deeper trust into you, and you will know as you’ve never known before that I am truly Jehovah Jireh, God of miraculous provision for all your needs. Stop relying on your education, your philosophies, your politicians, your financial planning, your prudence and have courage to take bold steps in obedience to Me. I am disabling your self-reliance and snapping your pride. My ecclesia will not go hungry if you fall at My feet daily in your inner room and frequently together as My body. You will feed, clothe and shelter believers in other countries and never run out of provision.”
Sam is a prophet to nations who loves Jesus, truth and the Church. He travels extensively preaching, teaching and prophesying in churches, ministries and to leaders, raising up a prophetically equipped church who knows how to influence culture and advance the Kingdom of God.
