Therefore, the Council is to be, at its heart, a\nrelational movement of prophets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p><em>As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.<\/em><\/p><cite>Proverbs 27:12<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>We are therefore committed to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Working hard to be together regularly &#8211; even if this\ncomes at a cost.<\/li><li>Aiming to do real life together and being a port\nin the storm for one another. <\/li><li>Giving each other permission to be prophets in\none and other\u2019s company, with permission for bold truth-telling. We may not\nalways agree but we acknowledge that we are called together and function\ntogether. <\/li><li>We agree to stop learning independence.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This relational focus will look like: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Meeting frequently is key to building hearts\ntogether. <\/li><li>The aim will be to meet 2-3 times or days per\nyear, in changing locations that help to share the travel burden across all members.<\/li><li>One meeting each year will have an overnight\naspect. This will allow a longer time to minister, sharpen and share with one\nanother.<\/li><li>Each time we meet there will be time given to\npersonal ministry, where we \u2018war\u2019 for each other. Our aim will be to be\nprivately honest and transparent with one another.<\/li><li>Our year-round relationships will be further facilitated\nwith private \u2018group chats\u2019 on social media and email that encourage engagement,\nencouragement and support.<\/li><li>A willingness to share our platforms (whether\n\u2018physical\u2019 or \u2018online\u2019) that publicly displays the value of our relationships\nto many.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of this core value, we have created this website with the intention that it is clear and open about who we each are and that it celebrates our relational connections. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We believe that prophets work best when they are in good relationship with each other and in place of connection and communication where they can sharpen one another.
